I know I'm missing something in not using tags -- I just don't "get" how to use them to make Nozbe more effective for me.
I understand they are not the same as contexts, nor as projects. They're not sub-projects either -- they are outside of hierarchy.
SO, what ARE they good for?
I would really appreciate it if several folks would share examples of how they are making good use of tags in Nozbe.
AmpleThanks,

I've become really addicted to tagging my projects actually, and I guess there are several uses for it.
I have 5 tags for my 16 projects, and the name of the tags mostly relates to my current "role" - what I am right now. My tags are: "work" - all my work-related projects goes here... naturally a "personal"-tag with my personal projects.. 1 tag for my online business-projects called "business", 1 tag for my house-projects called "house", and finally 1 "etc"-tag.. where all my useless crappy don't-want-to-do-projects are.. the great thing about tagging is that 1 project can have several tags, so i might have a project that is tagged both with personal-tag and house-tag, if the project is applicable for both tags... the thing is, i don't want to look on all my personal stuff when i'm at work - so while at work 8-16, the work-tag is active and all i see and concentrate on is my work-projects..
i also have 1 inbox-"project" - this inbox is tagged with all the tags, so that it is allways visible inside all the tags - even though it's still only 1 "project"..
hope this helped a littlebit? tags makes it more easy for me to identify what kind of projects i'm looking at and want to work with right now at least, so - try it! ![]()

AmpleThanks, ntpruk -- that does help.
Anyone else use tags differently?

Sunflower,
These are the tags I use: S SP FF HM CW $ LR 10
They are codes for roles:
S = Self
SP = Spouse/Parent
FF = Family/Friend
HM = Home Manager
CW = Career/Work
$ = Finance
LR = Leisure/Recreation
10 = Top Ten
I code all my projects with one or more corresponding project tags, so when I need to check projects related to these roles "Voila".
The 10 Project Code I use on projects that I consider Top Ten.

I use tags in much the same way as detailed in the other responses, but I also use them to group related projects.
For example: I have three projects labeled AMS PB, AMS HRM and AMS Finance, all of which have a tag of AMS. In this way, I can bring up just the three related projects by clicking AMS in the project tag cloud. This helps me work around the lack of subprojects.
Like the first response, I also use tags to limit my focus at work to only work-related projects while retaining contexts for further filtering. John

I use tags for classification of projects (Active, Inactive and so on), but I am becoming to lazy doing it, because if for some reason I forget to make a tag on a project (and it is easy to happen because is not mandatory) I have to enter in all projects to see if it is tagged.
A functionality like "not tagged projects" (like in Contexts) is important. Without that, Tags are not truthfull, for me.
